The hotel is an amazing place. The welcome we had from the staff at the front desk was exceptional. The intro to the hotel and facilities was great. Welcome drink on one of the terraces (we chose which one) was lovely overlooking the pool! The room we had was fabulous, we were upgraded on arrival which was lovely. The food in the restaurant was particularly good, we ate there for both of our two night stay. The decor around the hotel is fantastic. Very different, but amazing to see. We absolutely loved the hotel and staff and will definitely come back.

Everything you could wish for in a B&B experience : fine room (ours was on the ground floor) with a spacious bed and ample storage room. Perfect bathroom with a great shower and an impeccable host (or his sister) serving a great breakfast. Definitely a lodging to return to.

Guarda Rios is set on the seafront in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 200 metres from Sao Clemente Fort and 16 km from Pessegueiro Island. Beautiful small hotel in the very center. Elegant room, great breakfast, complimentary cake and tea in the afternoon. The receptionist very helpful.
