We stayed there for one evening, and had a wonderful time. All facilities were very well maintained. The kitchen had enough cookware and cutlery to prepare a dinner for six people. The outdoor bath is spacious and worth the extra charge. We hope to visit again soon!

Featuring 4-star accommodation, HOTEL MYSTAYS Matsuyama is situated in Matsuyama, 500 metres from Matsuyama Civic Center and 500 metres from The Museum of Art, Ehime. This place was incredible and such a reasonable price. Beautiful reception area and building in general, friendly staff, and the room was compact but not too small. Great fun having a 12th floor room! Breakfast was extensive Japanese-style, including local speciality sea bream dishes, and some Western-style offerings of yoghurt, compote, eggs, bacon, bread rolls, pastry etc. Location is great- tram stop just outside, only a flat 25 minute walk to the castle ropeway or 20 minute tram to Dogo Onsen. Parking is first come first served but is right next door, and staff validate your ticket for 1000 yen/day (rather than the normal rate of 200 yen/hour). Also self-serve laundry is available for 300 yen/load, plus dryers at 100 yen/30 minutes.

Located in Saijo, 28 km from Henjou-in Temple, Kyukamura Setouchi-Toyo provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. Room was incredibly comfortable, staff were very helpful and the scenery and views were beautiful! Onsen was excellent and the buffet had many delicious options

Providing quiet street views and a terrace, Dogonooyado Iwasaki features accommodation well set in Matsuyama, within a short distance of Ishitegawa Park, Matsuyama Shrine and Matsuyama castle. Staff was extremely friendly and let me store my luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room was spacious and had a little kitchenette where I could boil water. Clean and modern bathroom too. I purposely chose a quieter location that's still close to the main tourist area at Dongo onsen but still within walking distance. Light rail and bus stations are close as well. Bus from airport had a stop prior to Dongo onsen, so even with luggage the location is convenient. Evenings were extremely quiet because we were off the main street, and didn't hear anything from other rooms.

The hotel was very good located . Everything was walking distance . Staff very friendly . Breakfast awesome. Japanese sashimi etc etc . Good variety of options . Rooms well equipped . Common areas like bath , massage chair and lobby also excellent .

Lovely business hotel superbly located next to the cycle hire and train station. Nice rooms and really liked the happy hour drinks free of charge in the evening upon arrival. Great breakfast with lots of options for both Japanese and Western tastes
