We had a great stay at this hotel! The gentleman at the reception was extremely kind and always made sure we had everything we needed, asking us daily if we needed any assistance. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. One of the best things is that the hotel is very close to the entrance of the Petra trail, which made it super convenient for our visit. Highly recommended!

This is literally the house of waleed’s grandfather in the old village of Dana, which he renovated as a small hotel. The generosity and hospitality and warmth of the family is what makes it so special — I stayed only one night but left with so many wonderful memories. I speak some Arabic, so my particular experience may have been extra special—but I feel like anyone with a heart will feel at home. My day in Dana was honestly the highlight of my time in Jordan—not as flashy as Petra or wadi rum, but absolutely stunning and full of genuine and wonderful people. It is rustic — so if you really need a modern style hotel, this is not your place. But it was cozy and comfortable and warm and wonderful; what more could I hope for?
