The villa’s design is stunning, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — highly recommended!

We booked this hotel last minute. To our surprise it was excellent. Service impeccable, rooms and facilities super clean and modern. Bed and linens extra comfortable. Quality of toiletries excellent. Breakfast was scrumptious, variety of great quality food, and excellent service. We only stayed for 1 night, but we will be back.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. Excellent location outside the centre of Assisi. Very nice and comfortable, large garden to sit when weather permits A WONDERFUL view of the valley from most or all rooms (we had 6 rooms, all with a wonderful view)

Affittacamere La Mattonata is offering accommodation in Città di Castello. It is located 41 km from Piazza Grande and provides a lift. Check in was very easy. The shower was excellent—we’re hiking the Via di Francesco. Lovely stay.

3.1 km from Train Station Assisi, Agriturismo Molinella is a recently renovated property situated in Assisi and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. AMAZING. This has been the best place I’ve stayed in Italy. Diego (the host) was incredibly polite and attentive. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious and very stylish. The garden simply beautiful. The day and night view of Assisi breathtaking.
