Beautiful place, cozy, modern, nice staff, they only thing is that they may have a sign or signs before getting there on the road to make travelers an easier way to get there. Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Comfortable room, great location . The property has fabulous art work and is tastefully decorated. The staff were excellent- friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend Orvieto and the Hotel Duomo.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. We were already in this hotel with my husband 4 years ago, so there was no question that we would come back to the same place. Everyone at the reception was as nice as possible, on the first day they gave us directions to the restaurants in the area, which we tried and had very enjoyable lunches and dinners in the restaurants. The hotel rooms are impeccable, very clean and tidy. We loved the breakfast, as well as the service was perfect. We have never met such a kind and pleasant welcome.

Surrounded by olive trees in a charming location on the hills of Assisi, Hotel La Terrazza RESTAURANT & SPA is just 800 metres from the historic centre and close to the sports centre. It has the best pool on our travels to date. They let us check in really early. The room had an amazing view over the Umbria Valley. On the morning we left they let us start our breakfast 30 minutes early.

The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. I’m happy we stayed here, and would gladly stay here again!

Affittacamere La Mattonata is offering accommodation in Città di Castello. It is located 41 km from Piazza Grande and provides a lift. Check in was very easy. The shower was excellent—we’re hiking the Via di Francesco. Lovely stay.
