Even though check in was late we were allowed to leave luggages In our room early on. The staff was very helpful and even provided a packed sandwich for breakfast since we were leaving early. The location of the house was right in front of Kirkjufell. We woke up every morning to an amazing view of the mountain and fell asleep to the sights of the northern lights. What an amazing stay. Eva and Kolla the hosts were very responsive and equipped their house in the most considerate manner.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this property. The last Iceland trip we had 10yrs ago, we stayed here. The cabin looks in the same cleanliness, though after 10yrs, it does look a little aged. But the overall comfort and cleanliness is still good. We would still come here the next time we visit Iceland.

The staff were all happy to have us there and the restaurant on the 4th floor served one of the best meals we had all week in Iceland. The restaurant manager, Theodore, absolutely made our evening!
