In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Such a comfortable room, loved the pool, loved the breakfast and all the staff were very helpful abd friendly. It was just the type of stay that we needed after a few stressful days of travelling in a foreign country.

The lady who owns the hotel is the manager, she is a smart and educated person and she is very generous as she made our stay very comfortable, and she went beyond that with her generosity to us when I wanted to ask for a taxi she said to me (I am going and I will take you on my way) and indeed she took us with her in her car to our destination. In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Lesley was wonderful at the reception. The hotel restaurant was the best meal in our two week holiday.
