The Stables Townhouse B&B, is located on the famous Georgian streetscape of Oxmantown Mall, in the heart of Birr and directly opposite Birr Theatre & Arts Centre. We had a little mix up over the night of the booking and the place was full . However I have to say the staff moved mountains and found us a room nearby in Banagher . I was travelling with friends from Italy and this Irish way of sorting out a problem was really impressive . Thank you again to all the staff - hopefully we'll get to stay with you next time !

Boasting garden views, Gormanstown House Apt, The Island offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 14 km from Dun na Si Heritage & Genealogical Centre. Mags is a great host, we felt very welcome and comfortable in the apartment. It was spacious and had everything we needed including scones and a lovely breakfast. It was a really great stay!

I was expecting an older worn out hotel but this was very tastefully and recently updated. The bed was very comfy, reception and lounge areas smartly appointed and plentiful.
