The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. It’s like going back in the past!Wonderful place with a historical meaning. It was quiet,clean,great location within 10 min walk to downtown.The pool is not heated but the water temperature was pleasant for the 35 degree outdoor temperature!Breakfast was good,variety and served in a stunning large room.Best staff ever!respectdfull and helpful

500 metres from Tihany Abbey, Vánkoska Apartman Tihany is a recently renovated property located in Tihany and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This stay experience was simply amazing! I definitely have to give the landlord a super high rating! The environment here is extremely beautiful, with a quiet and comfortable setting that makes one feel extremely relaxed. The room is also very clean and tidy, decorated in a warm style. It's obvious that the landlord has put a lot of effort into cleaning and maintenance. The landlord's service attitude was also very good, being both warm and considerate. Due to work reasons, I needed to extend my check-out time. The landlord readily agreed and relieved me of any worries. Moreover, my husband accidentally stuck some glue on his shoes and was at a loss as to how to clean them. When the landlord learned about this, he voluntarily offered to help find a solution and really touched us. In conclusion, this accommodation experience was extremely pleasant. I am grateful for the thoughtful service provided by the landlord. I will definitely choose this place again when I come next time!

Offering a garden and garden view, Villa17 is set in Badacsonytomaj, 30 km from Sümeg Castle and 33 km from Thermal Lake Hévíz. Very good location near the beach. Friendly staff and beautiful garden with terrace. Everything was perfect.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Balatoni Élmény - csopaki apartmanlakások 20 méterre a Balatontól is located in Csopak. We were utterly pleased that the unit comes with 2 bedrooms , with one toilet/bath and another toilet and a large living room with a functional kitchen. The conditions of the unit was in perfect condition , very well kept , clean and equipped with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay. It is located within a gated community so access is very private. There is also a parking lot that comes with the apartment. Lake Belaton is apparently the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe with a size of 600 square km. This is almost the size of Singapore. As we were there during the off peak season , there were little activities at the lake except some holiday makers and people fishing. But the tranquil environment is very therapeutic and brings peace to the mind. Excellent choice of accommodation which I would highly recommend

Boasting garden views, Castle house offers accommodation with balcony, around 1.3 km from Füred Camping Beach. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Set 16 km from Tihany Abbey, Alsóörs Marina is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Alsóörs, featuring a garden, a bar and private parking. Location was excellent. We did not have breakfast.

Very friendly staff, especially at the reception Mrs. Ildiko, who made every effort to help with the logistics of the trip to the GP Balaton Park Circuit. Sárffy House is quietly located in the small village of Dörgicse, 6 km from Lake Balaton. Featuring free Wi-Fi and free parking, it offers a garden with a terrace and a playground. We had a wonderful stay at Sarffy House. We were charmed by the beauty of the place, the calm atmosphere, and its unique character. It offers great value for money. A big plus is the all-day access to the self-service bar with coffee, tea, and water – free of charge. This is especially convenient and welcoming for guests who have just arrived or are resting after a journey. The pool is atmospheric, clean, and pleasantly warm, making it a perfect spot to relax. The rooms are full of character and simply but thoughtfully arranged, with everything you need – a fridge, spacious wardrobe, air conditioning, table, armchairs, a comfortable bed, and direct access to the garden. What truly stood out was the warm welcome and the kind, helpful staff. We felt genuinely cared for. As we were about to embark on a long journey, we were offered a small but meaningful gesture of care, which reflected the host’s attentiveness and kindness. We are truly grateful for it. Still, even without this gesture, the stay itself would have been excellent. Breakfast was very good, with a choice of eggs – scrambled, poached, or boiled – and everything else you might need in the morning, served during convenient hours. Sarffy House is a perfect place to rest and recharge – a peaceful retreat with a welcoming atmosphere. It’s also a great base for cycling trips, visits to Lake Balaton, or exploring the nearby vineyards. There are also excellent local restaurants in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely stay – we look forward to coming back!
