A boutique hotel in the heart of York just a 10-minute walk from York Minster. The vinyl record player in the room was a true gem. The reception area had a huge display of great records which added such a special touch. Also the dollhouse which covered coffee, tea and mugs was really nice. Staff and location just superb to explore this cute town without a car.

In stunning parkland, close to York, Aldwark Manor Estate is a Victorian manor house that mixes traditional style with modern bedrooms featuring free WiFi. Stunning!....we loved our stay, from driving up the long driveway that runs by the golf course, to the stunning gold hands on the front doors, enormous chairs in the foyer, it was just great. Staff are excellent, professional and friendly. Our evening meal was excellent as was breakfast. 100% recommend. Great place for couples to get away for a weekend, golf, petanque, croquet, chess in the garden, a spa will be ready in November.
