This is a stunning, modern hotel which has recently opened. A lot of thought has gone into the decor and furnishings which are very tasteful. We stayed in a beautiful bedroom with a gorgeous en-suite bathroom. The large double bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. It was served in the conservatory overlooking a delightful garden. Hospitality was first class as all the staff we encountered at Dewars were friendly and attentive.

Very well appointed and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable. Quiet area not far from town, so easy walkable to train/bus statuon and bettys tea rooms! Great instructions for getting to and into apartment. Had a great stay, and if we are back in this beautiful area, we would want to stay here again.

I really have no words to describe the perfection of the Old Stables room (loft? Mini-apartment?) I would happily live there forever. The room was huge, beautifully decorated in a fabulous equestrian motif (the Farrier is at the original blacksmith shop), sparkling clean, and too many amenities to list. The food is delicious and plentiful. We had the full English breakfast and it set us up for the whole day! Everyone on staff were really lovely and so kind. I wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night!
