Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

Featuring garden views, Lake District romantic get away in 1 acre gardens off M6 provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 26 km from Askham Hall. Lovely, warm, renovated cottage just off the M6 but very quiet. Perfect for a family - super comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms - one has a spa bath and the other a super walk in shower. It was a lucky find on a long trip from Scotland heading south and fabulous to be able to do a couple of loads of washing and re-set for the rest of our journey. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

This is a beautiful home conveniently located a few blocks from the shops and restaurants in Kewsick. The owners are lovely and the house is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in England- get the fresh fruit salad and try the porridge- trust me! Also, don’t miss the freshly baked shortbread available daily.

Great parking. Close to Tesco. Kitchen well equipped. Same comfortable beds as last year. New window blinds in bedrooms. Nice shower. Quiet.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Elton Guest House features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. Location was superb, close proximity to cafes, promenade, walks & hikes with amazing views and scenic train to smaller towns. Our room was spotless and very comfortable.
