They went out of their way to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From providing detailed directions to the property to offering helpful suggestions on local restaurants, their warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Speaking of the property itself, it was nothing short of stunning. Nestled in the midst of nature, the retreat offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The serene atmosphere and tranquil surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It truly felt like a hidden gem. One aspect that particularly stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness and tidiness of the place. The attention to detail was evident in every nook and cranny. It’s a beautiful home with a serene scenery all around the cottage. Rooms were nicely decorated, and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped. Picnic table and benches on cottage lawn were perfect to enjoy the scenery and relax. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Margaret for being an exceptional host. She provided us with valuable advice regarding access roads and kindly left us a delightful gift basket along with delicious muffins. We would highly recommend this place and would like to stay here again.

Kinloch Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is a family-run former 17th-century hunting lodge, situated at the foot of a long private drive up Kinloch Hill on the shoreline of Loch Na Dal. Everything was just great! Best food of my entire trip through Scotland (even better than Michel Roux Jr.'s Seasgair in Inverlochy Castle).

Close to Portree in a bucolic setting at a small working farm, it is a wonderful home-away-from home at the end of the day. It has everything one needs, including snacks, coffee, tea, and milk. The views of mountains outside the large windows were calming and restful. We enjoyed going to sleep with the soft sound of sheep baa-ing next door.
