They have thought of everything that a guest may need. A lot of thought has gone into the layout and the space is used very efficiently. Quality fittings and furniture, comfortable king size bed and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Advised of door code before arrival. Check out very simple - push a button on the door to let them know that you've left and the 'clean team' turns up in minutes. Impressive!

The Gables Whisky B&B in Dufftown provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a bar. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 26 km from Huntly Castle. Everything! Location, atmosphere, food and room. It was an amazing experience. AJ & Siebette were super friendly and keen to help at any time. The bar is just awesome, this is the place to stay for a Whiskylover, they have an outstanding selection to enjoy couple of drams at night. We will definitely have to come back again.

Offering a garden and garden view, Struan House is set in Buckie, 27 km from Elgin Cathedral and 41 km from Huntly Castle. Featuring sea and mountain views, this bed and breakfast also has free WiFi. Struan House is a lovely old house in the centre of sea-side Buckie. The hosts are delightful, and offered me lots of details to make my 3-night stay as comfortable as possible. Although it is a ‘pet-friendly’ establishment, it was very well-cleaned and my allergies were not triggered. It was a good base for my explorations of north-east Scotland. Lots of interesting breakfast conversation from the international guests, many of whom were starting the Speyside Way or riding bikes. Thanks Robert and Giffy for a wonderful stay!
