Absolutely brilliant hosts, brilliant food, lovely setting beside river, very comfortable room, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We loved it. The Sunday roast was amazing, the beef just melted when you cut it. Breakfast was a feast of Scottish flavours. The whole ambience was just superb. Lodge Cabin with Fabulous Views - Farm Holiday is situated in Stranraer. The property has garden views. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We had such an amazing holiday! We loved everything about the accommodation, the farm, the location... view is spectacular, overseeing the Irish coast. The lodge is fully equipped, but shall you require anything extra, Kay & Ian are more than happy to help! They are the most welcoming hosts! (Thank you, again, Kay & Ian!❤️) We were lucky enough to visit during lambing season and got a chance to see the wee lambs and to feed them...so precious! A huuuge plus for the very hot water, it's one of the few accommodations ever (!!!) with such high water pressure and temperature, which is God given after day trips. The welcome basket was insane, with home-made biscuits and cupcakes. We got cheese, butter, fresh milk and farm eggs..and many, MANY more! Everything was just PERFECT!

Set in Moffat, in a historic building, 35 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, Warriston Apartment at Holm Park is an apartment with a garden and barbecue facilities. This accommodation is without a doubt an unique blend between old and new. We were astonished upon arrival to the house, the instructions we received were very friendly and clear. We went to get dinner to the places recommended in their house guide and brought it back and prepared ourselves a dinner fit for kings (and a queen). We were very sorry that we booked only for one night but we are already planning to return.

Kate was super welcoming, and helpful for first-time visitors. The rooms were great, clean, with everything you'd need. Breakfast was fabulous. I would recommend it.

A wonderful log cabin on the Ewes Water near the town center. Well equiped, clean and very comfortable.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating, the bed was really comfortable, the room was really spacious and the shared kitchen space had everything you need and was very clean

Cairndoon Byre in Monreith provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. The property features sea and mountain views. Everything!! This bed and breakfast was a warm, cozy and quaint stay. The owners were wonderful and personable. I wish we could have stayed longer. The property is clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Set in 18 acres of private parkland, Hetland Hall Hotel serves local produce on its Scottish menu. Overlooking the Solway Firth, this hotel also has an outdoor children’s playground. The grounds/surrounding area of the hotel were lovely/relaxing. We ate in the restaurant and whilst there was limited choice on the menu, the food was excellent and the choice and food quality at breakfast was very good indeed. The dining/breakfast area, bar and outside seating area's were very comfortable and clean.
