Very nice apartment with assigned parking spot. Easy contact with the owner, passing over the keys done efficiently. Convenient localization, bakery, food shop and some bars in a 1-2 minutes walk.

Boasting mountain views, Altquhur Byre provides accommodation with patio, around 16 km from Mugdock Country Park. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 23 km from Lake of Menteith.... Carolyn, owner, is a lovely person. She offered us tea and cookies upon arrival. The room, beds, bathrooms are all top notch. Although a bit of a walk to town, it was a great stroll back after our dinner at the pub. Breakfast is in their very charming kitchen.

Offering mountain views, Altskeith Country House is an accommodation set in Aberfoyle, 10 km from Loch Katrine and 15 km from Lake of Menteith. Fabulous location on the shore of the loch. Excellent food and comfortabel room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Situated just 10 minutes’ drive from Stirling, Wellsfield Farm Holiday Lodges offers self-catering accommodation with free onsite parking. I was welcomed with a birthday card, box of chocolates and a bottle of Australian wine (we are Australian). The first 5 days I had a chest infection, the owners were kind enough to grab some medical supplies for me. There is so much to do there for couples and families. The cabins are close by to see tourist attractions, close to the train station to go to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Offering a garden and garden view, Dunroamin is situated in Drymen, 17 km from Mugdock Country Park and 18 km from Lake of Menteith. Breakfast was most enjoyable, plenty of choice. Location was a little difficult to find but we asked locally and then it was a lot easier.

Fantastic views, peace and quiet, lovely nature right on our porch, cosy house, and friendly stuff. We couldn't ask for more, the most perfect stay ❤️

In the centre of Callander, which is set in The Trossachs National Park, this Georgian town house provides individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi and home-cooked breakfasts. The hosts were incredibly nice and the breakfast was delicious! We loved the 24/7 free-of-charge coffee machine, too. The rooms are very nice and the matresses were very comfortable.

Cromlix is owned by Kim and Andy Murray. Nestled in the scenic Scottish countryside just three miles from Dunblane, this historic mansion is located in 34 acres of secluded woodlands and landscaped... This was my pick from the trip. From the moment we walked through their doors, their hospitality was unmatched. They looked after us like we were part of their family. It was the best meal we ate for our entire trip too! We simply could not fault this place.

Tanllan Apartment is set in Callander, 14 km from Lake of Menteith, 34 km from Loch Katrine, and 45 km from Mugdock Country Park. A beautiful apartment with a lovely river view. Very spacious and comfortable with a parking space right outside the apartment.
