Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and lovely decor. The pool looked wonderful, but a little too cold for a swim.

The studio is of high standard, furnished with taste, good quality appliances. But we actually spent most of the time in the private garden, with luxuriant vegetation and cosy relaxing corners. The host is extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the island and activities and very accommodating. We’ll be coming back for sure.
