Boasting a terrace and located by a forest, Kyriad Périgueux BOULAZAC is situated in Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. Everything was perfect. A very neat, tidy and silent place to rest. Not too far from the train station.

Set 400 metres from the sea front and the beach La Grande Plage in Biarritz, Au Bon Coin offers a bar, lift, terrace and free WiFi throughout. Cannot rate this small, reasonably priced boutique style hotel highly enough. Everything was wonderful. Perfect location - cheap 18e taxi ride from airport, central location, wonderful staff, beautifully clean, comfortable rooms, great bathroom, good beds. Ticked all boxes. Highly recommended if you don't need pools, spas, etc. Staff were so friendly and very helpful.

Located just 150 metres from the medieval centre of Sarlat and housed in a beautiful building, the Hotel Montaigne offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff; as I had an issue with my rental car company they provided all the help they could. Highly recommended!

Located next to the Dordogne River, this 19th-century Château is 3 km from Saint-Emilion. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa centre and soundproofed accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The location close to St Emilion, the ambience, the setting, the beautiful building, the out door dining, swimming pool,in fact everything. Lovely Chateau experience. Probably the best we've ever had in France and we've travelled alot throughout France over the years. Even the parking was so easy and so close. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff.

Absolutely outstanding hotel, with perhaps the most thoughtfully-designed rooms I've ever encountered - so many places to put things, to hang things, to pack things. Location simply could not be better; you're in the heart of the beautiful town but it still feels like an oasis. The beach is just a few minutes' walk. The view from our very large room (216) was spectacular, offering both mountains and the bay. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Located in Agen, 3.2 km from Agen Exhibition Centre, Serra Boutique Hôtel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The Serra Boutique Hotel is quite new. We were told by a staff member that the hotel was less than a year old and the bar had only been completed within the last 9 months. The staff was very welcoming and during our stay proved to be very knowledgeable about the hotel and very professional. One small thing that I really appreciated about the hotel was that my phone was immediately connected to WiFi when I walked in the hotel. I didn’t need to sign-in or anything. The terms beautiful and tasteful apply to the whole hotel. While the bar is somewhat flamboyant with its lime and fuchsia upholstered furniture. The restaurant has more of a Moorish feel with clay tiles creating a decorative pattern on the walls. The hotel rooms while of a minimalist decor do not detract at all from the comfort of the guests. There is everything you could possibly want in a hotel room from a work area to a separate area to put on makeup and do your hair. I was so fascinated by the decor of the hotel, that I kept taking photos to share with family and friends. Regarding food and drink, the bar has a somewhat limited but well curated list. How many bars can provide a glass of Jurançon wine? The breakfast buffet had any type of breakfast you could wish for; ham and cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon, cereal, pastries, etc. Dinner was also a buffet with both hot and cold choices.
