Balzhas, the owner, was amazing! He made us feel completely at home, sent us lots of recommendations, came over with treats for us, and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. I could not compliment him more if I tried.

We liked everything 👍 The apartment was clean with spacious 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has all essentials, what you need, even for a longer stay. The location is perfect, one block from the main pedestrian street and all restaurants 🍝 The pool on the roof terrace has amazing views⛱️ over the town⛪️.

Very comfortable bed and lovely outside seating area for the couple of nights we stayed in. The location was excellent, 5 minutes walk to main strip of bars and restaurants and the beautiful beach. Located within 400 metres of Praia de Santa Maria and 800 metres of Funana Casa da Cultura, Zen House Tropical offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Santa Maria. It was big. Well equipped if you wanted to cook. Nice big fridge and a small freezer, more than adequate. The door lock was great as it was coded, no keys to loose. The pool is big and clean and safe, enough loungers for the guests that were there, but it was very quiet so it may be an issue if the property was busier.
