Voco Guangzhou Shifu by IHG features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a restaurant and bar in Guangzhou. The location was amazing. So close to many attractions and the staff are so helpful (English speaking) We never had to take a taxi for the stay but were happy to walk 20mins to furthest attraction. The walking street is right outside the door and somewhere we spent a lot of time. The street food is also by the front door of hotel. Recommend this hotel to stay.

The gorgeous Guangzhou Langham Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Pazhou International Exhibition Centre. The location was excellent. The check in reception upgraded us to a river view room on the 19th floor which has excellent view. They topped it by giving us free access to executive lounge and free breakfast. It definitely fulfilled their 5 stars rating.

Located in Guangzhou, 9 km from Baiyun Mountain, Element Guangzhou Baiyun provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Upon arrival, we had thought we lost our bag in the taxi, and we contacted the staff. Galen, a young staff, persistently tried to help us out. He even agreed to help us call a taxi driver to see if the bag was in the taxi. He was very empathetic, and he was very candid about where he thinks the bag was. So, without giving up, we contacted a taxi driver, and we were able to actually retrieve the bag in the trunk, despite what the taxi driver had said initially. Because of Galen, it made the rest of us stay a lot more memorable. He even went out of his way to be personable as well, and this is the kind of experience we look for in a high-end hotel. A personalized help. And because of this experience, we look forward to coming back and staying at this hotel in the future.
