We didn't know what to expect, and Chongqing is quite edgy, grubby etc and the hotel was an island of calm in all the bustle, had amazing views, beautifully designed, great friendly staff etc

It was absolutely the best experience I had during my whole travels so far. The couple who owns the place is absolutely amazing. They really care about the wellbeing of their guests. They prepared their own very useful guide book in Chinese and English. Everyday they bake home made bread and baguettes so the guests have something to eat. And the most importantly, they are really friendly. 11/10.
