We ended up staying in Darwin much longer than we had planned because our car broke down. There was no doubt in our minds that we would stay only there. The service was amazing — the hotel manager made us feel so cared for, almost like family. The cleaning staff went above and beyond, both in cleanliness and in kindness. This lodge is very expensive but worth every cent. We were welcomed at 12:30 by Henry who gave us immediate access to our room. This was huge with a lovely bathroom and small veranda overlooking bush. Completely private and peaceful. In the evening we watched the winter solstice sunset whilst enjoying complimentary drinks and canopies. A three course dinner followed which was excellent.

Everything was allright, check in, elevators, rooms with great space for suitcases, bathroom, breakfast also allright, car in the building. Very helpfull staff. I would stay again with a group of 12. We could walk to dinner facilities. May be too far from the ocean, but even that is not a problem with a car.
