Saw quite a lot of Kangaroos and other wildlife in the park. At dawn and dusk, from the patio we could see them walking around which was very cool.

Highly Recommended place for anybody! Roolagoon Homestead was a home away from home. The location is perfect in exploring the nearby highlights of Kangaroo Isand such as Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Cape du Coudeic etc, only 20 mins drive! The house is complete with cooking utensils for family dinners, washing machine, dryer, comfy beds, and everything you need! Checking in is very easy! Jonny and Simone are wonderful hosts, they went extra mile in preparing our requested high chair for our little baby. There is wifi! The surrounding environment is so relaxing too! My parents enjoyed sitting in the porch and basking in the sun.There's a bonus of woodcraft gallery where you could see amazing wood crafts you could purchase if you like.

We only stayed the one night. Was a visit to kangaroo island whilst on our travels around Australia. Our room had a fab view and was clean and comfortable.

Great location 10 minutes from Penneshaw, a short drive from the ferry. You can see Baudin Bay from the decking and it's an easy stroll. It's peaceful, lots of Superb Fairy wrens visit the garden. The property is fantastic, lots of space, well equipped kitchen and so many thoughtful touches - from electric blankets on the comfortable beds, good toiletries and a very nice bottle of local wine. All you have to do is unpack, relax and enjoy. Communication was great in the lead up to our stay, and we didn't have any need to contact the owner whilst here. It's a wonderful base to come back to after a long day exploring the incredible Kangaroo Island, my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I highly recommend KI and this place, I would return in a heartbeat.

The property was centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do on the Island. The home was comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equiped with the basics of tea & coffee provided.
