Breakfast was great with good selection and amazing desserts and sweet pastries. The staff were very friendly and communicative.

This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. The room and the view and the view from the spa were just incredible! Breakfast is also something else! All the people working there were really nice. We did enjoy the quietness of this place a lot!

It is spacious, the beds are really comfortable and everything smelled so nice. Barbara and Stephanie are the best hosts, they were very kind, funny and responded to our questions immediately. Thank you for making our first family trip with our little son amazingly memorable! 😊

From the moment we booked this accommodation, we were extremely well looked after by Andreas. It was all so easy, seamless and smooth. He immediately sent us everything we needed for our stay including where to park, how to get into the apartment and what to do in and where to go around Gmunden/Traunsee. He was very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions very quickly and thoroughly and, although we did not meet in person (unfortunately), his demeanor was super friendly and accommodating and he seems like a very nice guy indeed. Thank you, Andreas! The apartment was spotless, comfy and had everything you needed (you literally can't ask for more than that). The location of the apartment, while not right by the lake, is only a short walk from the lake itself, the town centre, Grünberg cable car and Schloss Ort - which is great! The lake itself is stunning and, as was expected, super clean and clear! The surrounding areas (Feuerkogel, Offensee [amazing!], Grünberg, Traunkirchen etc) were similarly gorgeous! The people of Traunsee are also very friendly and laid back (as are Austrians in general). It was all so easy and effortless from start to finish. I cannot recommend Andreas and his apartment highly enough and also urge you to visit Gmunden am Traunsee at some point in your lives - you won't regret it.
