Located in Latschach ober dem Faakersee, 8.8 km from Waldseilpark - Taborhöhe, Gasthof Martinihof provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. We made a last minute reservation at Martinihof. When we arrived the owner had not yet seen our reservation but he greeted us in a vert kind and welcoming way. We felt at home right away! We were tired and hungry. The owner showed us the room and said that we were more than welcome to join for diner. He had a nice menu with various dishes: meat, fish and vegetarian. We had fish and meat and both dishes were delicious! Also the salad was fresh and crispy. Room was well equipped and very clean! The beds were very comfortable. And the fresh air from outside made us sleep like babies!

Located directly on the shores of Lake Faak, this family-run hotel combines beautiful views of the Karawanken mountains with a cosy atmosphere, a wide range of sports and spa options, and refined... We recently stayed in this hotel for 4 nights at Standar Family Room with two kids. We were welcomed very warmly with the persons at reception. they were very kinds, helpful and supportive. We got our room and just after entering the room we had this nice lake view behing the large windows and balcony. Kids have a nice private area which they really liked. They were given some nice gifts to draw and enjoy their spare time. Rooms have very large bathroom with bathtub, and no toilet in it which is very good. Toilet is separate but it is very small and there is no water for handwashing. You have to go to bathroom for hanfwashing. This is annoying. Restaurants: We had really nice dinners at our reserved table with an amazing view and decoration. The menu is always rich, salate buffet and cheese buffet is rich either. There is always something for everbody.The envronment is cosy and joyful. Foods are really amazing, delicious and all the persons are helpful and supportive since we do not have any alcohol and pork. They always use the top most quality products. Breakfast is also always very good. Their products, egg menu, cheese, other options, honey, butter all are amazin. They serve you the best products. You will have health and enough food. They have plenty of space for everybody and time for all either. They have nice pool area. We really enjoy it. Their infinity pool also was amazing with the area to rest around. I could not use Sauna area because it is nude area if I understand it correctly. Everywhere is very clean, tidy. The only annoying thing will be toilletes in terms of their size, and WiFi. As a conclusion, we had very nice experience here and definitely will be back later. I really would like to try in summer. There will so many things going on in the lake area.

I liked the original design of the place - bikers style- the owner put a lot of thought into the details. The room was very nice -with a mountains view as promised, private balcony, comfy bed and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Exactly as in the pictures. I liked it very very much. Also, the breakfast was delicious:;)

Tasty food in the restaurant. The house is small but compact (sufficient for us two adults and a child). It is worth taking with you: a kettle, cleaning products. It was a joy to stay here for more than a week. Very friendly and helpful staff are there to make the staying more enjoyable—very good knowledge of English. It's located on a huge old farm, near a forest with animals where kids love to play with it. Tranquil place and has lots of activities for kids, inside and outside. Also, lots of places to visit near, like animal farms, lakes, and castles. And near the main city (Villach) is easy to reach by autobahn or train (S-Bahn). The rooms are cleaned every morning. The restaurant has a top menu with excellent food. If I can rate the property from 1 to 10, I will give them 20 :)

The apartment is as in the pictures. Very cozy, warm and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Aparment is Ten minutes' drive from the ski resort. We are very satisfied and have no complaints.
