It is difficult to describe the good vibes at this place… it feels like home or visiting family with a first class mountain view. The care and hospitality is tangible at Valter & Drita’s - John and Mary are exceptional hosts and the food produced in their mother’s kitchen is fantastic and you can taste the love. The homemade pickle salad and cheese pie were so good! All the food was outstanding - simple but really tasty. Breakfast is buffet style and caters to savoury and sweet palettes. Great coffee and Mary and John will cater to any dietary requests happily. Evening meals on the terrace with jaw dropping views were a real highlight after a day hiking in the beautiful region of Theth. The stars and moon are so close as the property is located high on a mountainside. It’s a very private sanctuary. The room was spotlessly clean, linen was lovely and the bathroom facilities were great. This place ticks all the necessary boxes re facilities but the people are what make a stay memorable. Go and visit these people - you won’t regret it. Two nights was definitely not long enough for us and we hope to return again in the future.

It was excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. On the first night we were late for dinner and they were happy to prepare some food for us, we were very grateful.Went on the horses. If they see that you are not confident then they will allow you to ride in the ring They were very flexible. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were not super hard which was good. Shkoder city centre was a 10 minute drive. Advice would be to have a car. Can find restaurants and shops there.

The room was big with a balcony The reception was super nice, they gave us a doggy bag for breakfast. The parking is free during your stay but we needed to let our car 3 more days, so we paid 5€. The price is perfect for a private parking Thank you

Warm welcome from hosts, perfect location at the end of the village and close to hiking trails and Thethi Waterfall. Optionally you can have breakfasts and dinner over there, it is recommended, food is home cooked, fresh, so tasty. The village itself is quiet and actively developing with many new guesthouses. We hiked one day 17.5 kms and came home happy from this fantastic nature. We had a very good sleep in this guesthouse, it felt like you visit your family. We regret that we booked just two nights, we would definitely stay a couple of days longer. Thank you!

Situated in the center of Shkodër, Hostel Mi Casa Es Tu Casa offers a shared terrace with free-to-use barbecue facilities. Free Wi-Fi access is available. I came back for the second time. This place just feels like home and the staff feels like family ❤️
