The hotel is well decorated, on the perfect location with free parking. The room was pretty large with two decks, both with see view for sunset and sunrise. The beds are extremely comfortable and everything was super clean. From the moment we entered the staff was very kind and they offered us some small gifts on check-in and check-out which was really nice. The breakfast was great, we really enjoyed it.

Receptionists were very helpful, answered all of our questions and made us feel welcomed! The room was stylish, exceptionally clean and well equipped. We even had complimentary champagne in the room! That was really a surprise. The room had balcony with magnificent view to the lava pools and ocean, we saw the sunset from there as well. It was so nice to fall asleep when listening the ocean waves. And the breakfast was just superb! Large variety of fresh dishes and fruits. Whenever visiting Madeira again, we will definitely come back! :) It was the best accommodation we had during the week (stayed in 5 different places).

The location had a fabulous view down to the ocean with panoramic windows. The accommodation was very modern with lovely little touches like welcome gifts & additional items for my toddler, which were very well received. The pool was lovely to have on warmer days with a wonderfully hot outdoor shower. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. To get to the property it is off the main road and up a narrow, steep hill but we hired a car to use for the time we were there so not a problem for us. Ana was very helpful and always on hand with any answers to questions. We also had a resident cat that would say hello to us each day, we didn't let it in but it definitely tried! Very friendly and my son loved it. The area in general was nice, nothing around the villa in terms of walking but a short drive down to Calheta beaches and restaurants. There's a wine bar just round the corner which we tried to go to several times but either wasn't open or didn't quite time it right with our toddler - I think worth a look though if you like wine and are not restricted by times! We also had an excellent pizza (one of the best I've had) alongside some exceptional ice cream down on the harbour front. Manifattura Di Gelato restaurant. Worth a try, even just for an ice cream.

The location was great with beautiful views. It's very quiet and we could enjoy every part of the island easily by car. There is also a cool short Banana route close by the RB2 Vereda do Nateiro and other beautiful waterfalls at Ponta do Sol. The garage is a bit tricky if you have a low car. It has a nicely equipped kitchen. They had a welcome basket with fruits for us. It is ideal for a family or a group of friends. We would definitely choose the same place next time. Everything was great The food was very tasty and varied.We really like Poncha lesson and the folklore group of Madeira :) Just a quick shoutout to commend your team, especially the animators and service staff. Casinhas da Laurissilva is a perfect accommodation. In the middle of a forest, with a beatiful mountain views. The house is really beautiful, clean, spacious, and it offers everything you need for a nice and comfortable stay. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Not to mention that there's a private levada with a waterfall nearby. Perhaps it is easier to reach if you have a car. Ana, the owner, is very kind, she gave us all the information needed. Highly recommended!
