The motel was so nice and clean and nicely renovated. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, would recommend this place to anyone.

Such a sweet little home. Superb cost/ value ratio at this adorable really comfortable house. Super clean and tidy with a very cool outdoor decking area. Aircon with Heating options for cool nights. A very well stocked kitchen with all the things needed for a self catering stay. Beautiful thoughtful little extras like a cupboard with basics and extra little niceties to help guests (cooking oil and chocolates, along with a tin of beans and little extras). Very welcoming. Lots of helpful cleaning supplies. You have to pop next door on the decking for the bathroom but it was possibly the best shower we have ever experienced in our recent 5 month trip. Good heater in the bathroom too. Lots of towels provided. A couple of nice cafes restaurants in town and a great cafe on the main road for breakfast. Waimate has a lovely park in the centre too. Parking is safe. It was a really good stopover at a very fair price. Big thanks to our hosts

the hotel was good, the room was a good size and the bed comfy. the bar/ restaurant was great and the staff were excellent
