Everything was perfect! Clean, bright rooms, large terrace with palm trees and other equatorial plants, particularly tasty food, well-located location, interesting excursions and very welcoming and helpful staff in making transfers to the island. We stayed at White Sand Inn for 3 nights. And would stayed there again for sure. Great price performance, frendly and welcoming team. They arranged the transfer to and back, they arranged whale shark trip(found whale sharks in no time + Mantas), after whaleshark seeing went snorkling on different reefs(included in price). (Through out all the trip they arranged all the transitions to different exit points) They have option to get bikes (out prefered way of exploring thing(for free)). The owner arranged picnic island trip, again for free(maybe exlusive ocasion, but still, it happened:)) Great breakfast. Clean rooms. They offer to wash and dry your cloathing, again free, which shows the hospitality that we receved. The bikini beach is 2min away. Scuba center(Shamar guest house) is next door. Our dive guide also stayed at white sand. (Shamar and white sand are owned by two brothers). All in all great experience, I would recommened it to anyone who is planning to go to Maamigili. 10/10.

Very hospital and friendly hosts, a lot of marine activities, and the local vibes only found in this small inhabited island. The local family hosts are very friendly to us. Even though we only had 4 days stay there, they helped arranging all the marine activities into the limited schedule, so that we succeeded in watching Dolphins, Turtles and swimming with Mantas and Whalesharks! Located in the South Ari Atoll where those sea animals are always around, this hotel is definitely a hidden gem for the marine life lovers. Although the facility is not so fancy as upscale resort hotels, the guest house and our room was full of hospitality with their hand made decorations. White Tern is an only hotel in Dhidhdhoo island which has probably only 100-200 population and is tiny island that 30 mins walk is enough to browse all the islands. The island itself has very local atmosphere and we enjoyed having coffee, local snacks and the local chewing tobacco with local residents at one of the only two tea shops in Dhidhdhoo (In fact, as there are only two small tea shops in the island, if you want something more proper dinner, eating at White Tern is the best option). Communication is very easy and very responsive on WhatsApp. Before the stay and even during the stay, you can always talk to them on WhatsApp.

Whaleshark Beach has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Dhigurah. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

The staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. The place is like a mini resort with a beautiful garden and villa like bungalow. The breakfast was also good with a lot of fruits and local, continental offerings. Every day we got lot of bottled water and basically we never bought any water during our stay. The room was cleaned every day or latest every second day. There are only 5 or 6 rooms so it is not crowded like a hotel. It feels like your are part of a family

We stayed for 5 days in November and travelled with an infant. The island was absolutely beautiful and having revamped and reopened earlier this year, everything had a touch of freshness. We split time between beach villa and water villa with pool; both rooms were lovely and offered a different experience. The resort staff were fantastic - probably one of the most hospitable bunch of folks we have ever come across. Special mention of the chefs - Sinhal, Chameela and Ali, for taking extra effort to prepare special meals for our baby. Snorkeling was good, specially from the water villa. Overall, would definitely recommend this resort to fellow travellers.

We were satisfied with everything in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The room was always clean, which was taken care of twice a day by Mujeeb, whom we want to thank once again, because he made our stay even better. We liked that we could choose breakfast and dinner from a wide menu. When serving meals, we always looked forward to the always cheerful and smiling Pathum. We highly recommend this hotel.

The entire experience was exceptional. The hotel itself is right on the beach and the beach stretches for several miles to the end of the island. It is one of the best beaches I have ever seen and is quite well maintained. The room was large enough, with a comfortable bed and a balcony facing the ocean. Breakfast buffet was limited but adequate. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. Overall excellent experience and couldn’t ask for more.
