The manager took us on a bird and bat watching excursion in the evening which was lovely. There was also wild deer who are comfortable around humans and we fed them. Take away breakfast was prepared for us to take on safari. There are some food options available onsite. The stay was very peaceful and comfortable. The staff are extremely accommodating. Our safari driver Tharanga was very knowledgeable and we found the safari really enjoyable.

This Guesthouse and it's owner is the best I have ever seen. They really do everything to be okay,, comfortable and happy. You can organize a safari to Yala National Park, to the Bird Sanctuary, to the different lakes and he can take you to the next place you want to go. We had fresh fish for dinner and an exceptional breakfast. It was just great! We really love our stay!!!

Great room,very clean and comfortable.Mahanma was a proper gentleman,very attentive and also booked us a Safari to Yala NP. He took us to a local spot where hundreds of fruit bats gathered in a massive tree and at sundown they all start flying around.It was an awesome sight.He also helped us with a Driver/Guide for our onward journey.Special thanks to Sahoni I hope I’ve spelled it correctly.She speaks good English and was there for us whenever we needed.Overall we had a lovely stay at Owin Rose.👌🏻

Absolutely stunning views from my room was breathtaking, it was like waking up in a dream. Impeccable service and friendly staff with exceptional cuisine that exceeded all my expectations. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene was exceptional. I truly belive that more than valued for the money I paid for the hospitality and the service I received. We stayed at the new Villa. That was perfect for family since it’s huge two story villa and has a private pool. Initially I was bit nervous because there were almost no information about this villa. But we recognized that’s because this facility opened in the end of this month (Dec. 2024). Once my family arrived at this villa, we were immediately fascinated by this villa and great hospitality of the staff. I can recommend this although the gramping camp sites should be also good. In addition, location is good. We can enjoy game safaris for both Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park since it’s located between both national parks. Finally, I was very satisfied with the email communication with Ms. Sonali Lowe (Manager - Sales & Reservations) prior to our stay, as it was both prompt and precise.

we stayed at this place one night just to do the yala safari tour. Our stay was great. The room was very clean (although pretty basic), the hosts were very kind and friendly and we decided to do the safari with the host. it was one of the best experiences of our life. We totally recommend not only staying but also doing the safari with them.
