A huge thank you to Janaka, the manager, whose exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. I had a wonderful stay at Ceagull and after a while it felt like home. The hotel is located just a short walk away from the noisy and busy main road as well as the train tracks and a few minutes walk from Kabalana beach. Still u can reach Ahangama town in a short tuk tuk ride. There is also a small village shop close to it and a few restaraunts. It is a secure, enclosed complex with a nice garden area and all rooms front porches with sitting facilities face to the centered garden. It also nice for family with kids, because they can run around and it is very safe. Rooms are spacious, airy, clean and equipped with all necessary stuff. Shower was big and the water pressure was really good. The hotel also provided a mosquito tent, which I highly appreciated. The breakfast is big and delicious. U are able to choose every evening from a variety of western/salty/sweet and sri lankan options. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and they always had a smile on their face. Shashini the manager is keeping an eye on everything and u can feel a good team spirit from all the members of the staff. The hospitality of everyone there is just beyond expectations. They also help u arranging scooter rental, airport transfer and will always give advice how to get around.

This was probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. The design and the whole vibe was fantastic! There is also a coffee house that belongs to the hostel to get breakfast, lunch, coffee and sweet treats which is a great addition! And to get to the beach you only have to cross the street in front of the hostel.

We had such a great stay here in Ahangama! The place was in a perfect spot really close to town, so we could just walk to all the cute cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby. The area also felt safe, and everything we needed was within reach. The place itself was clean, comfy, and totally worth what we paid.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful pool and private beach. Staff was attentive and management checked in with us frequently. Sadly I had to leave sooner than expected with a sick toddler (needed to fly home earlier for her doctor). But everything was lovely for our one night and I would have happily stayed longer.

We love everything! We ended up keep extending our stay. I think we stayed at least 5 nights. I love the view and the sound of the wave. This is therapy. The twins room is large enough to add one more bed and become a triple room. The staff team is super helpful and nice. They accommodated all our request! We highly recommend this hotel!
