You pay more for a superior twin room but the size, decor and view are superb. A beautiful combination of Japanese style and Western comfort. I only know about rooms in the main building. If you seldom splurge, do it here

I do have to say the staff were what actually saved this hotel for me. They were so incredibly friendly I was baffled. They even drove me to abashiri prison when I was waiting for the bus, and were just really warm and welcoming. The room itself was really spacious too, and people here say it wasn't clean, which I did not really notice to be honest, though it was not like squeaky clean maybe.

I really enjoyed the experience. It was a lot more intimate than many of the other accommodations on my trip and a very good price. Also some of the comfiest futons I've slept on since arriving in Japan.

This was my favorite accommodation during my trip to Hokkaido. The room was warmly decorated and well-equipped, offering a cozy stay. The surroundings were beautiful, and the host was very friendly. I hope to visit again!
