Just about the most charming place I've ever stayed at and I traveled quite a bit. The room was lovely with a lot of character and the staff rather friendly and welcoming. I believe it's family owned and you can definitely tell. Fantastic breakfast, stunning views of the lake and a short walk from the enchanting town of Orta. I can't wait to go back!

Well loved our pretty room under the eaves of this very old, family run hotel. We had a delightful view over the roof slates to the lake and mountains. Room and bathroom with painted walls and a luxury spa bath were much enjoyed. We enjoyed two excellent evening meals in the restaurant overlooking the lake. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit. It was so nice just being able to wander out into the streets and piazza of lovely Orta. The staff were very friendly and offered helpful information.

Luca and Melissa are extremely welcoming and helpful hosts who know how to make your stay enjoyable. Even the cats and the dog of the house enjoy the presence of visitors. This is a family house with soul and history ! Several hiking trails are accessible directly from the property. A restaurant and a grocery shop are within walking distance.
