The farmhouse is located about a 10 minute drive outside of Vik directly off the number 1 road. The farmhouse is very welcoming and cozy. The person working on the reception desk when we arrived was lovely and so friendly. We were a group of friends and were split over three rooms but we were able to use the breakfast room as a space to meet up. The hotel very kindly offered us glasses to use for our drinks.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The staff was very nice and respectful. The check-in and check-out were extremely smooth and simple. The room was clean (including the bathroom) with a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the breakfast.
