José is a fantastic host! He sorted out a lovely overnight houseboat for us (he has a few good quality boats of various sizes) and was very helpful with logistics and tips. We left some shoes at his place after leaving, and he managed to post them down to our next location in 24 hours - a star 👍🏻

The food was amazing! We were unable to finish it all though!! Gorgeous scenery The sound of the birds at dusk and dawn was really special Where we moored overnight you could not hear any beeping horns. A first for our Indian trip! Stunning place at the river. Comfortable room. Very friendly neighbours! Being a family who lives on the same plot and look after you. Extremely nice and easy going as is Cindu who cooked for us an excellent meal. The rent of the room is done by a company and makes it a bit confusing in communication on forehand.

We had an amazing stay at this homestay! Veena and Chindu are truly wonderful hosts - kind, flexible, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Veena has a beautiful heart, and her warm hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome from day one. Her mother is also very kind, adding to the family’s inviting atmosphere. The house itself is beautiful, with elegant marble details that add to its charm. The location is absolutely perfect, with easy access to major attractions, and the hosts provided excellent support for organizing tours and activities. Renting a scooter was made easy, as Veena and Chindu assisted us right away. Communication was always quick and efficient, making everything smooth and hassle-free. This is a great place for a homestay experience, though it may not be ideal if you need complete privacy, as the guest area is on the first floor while the family lives downstairs. Both are connected via stairs. However, if you're looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere in a fantastic location, this is the perfect place to stay! Highly recommend!

I really liked the hotel, our stay was for 2 nights, the room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the toiletries in the bathroom were of good quality, we ordered room service, the food was not bad, but it was not super hot, the breakfast was delicious, they make good strong masala tea and coffee and a more continental breakfast, that is, foreigners can also enjoy it.
