We have visited family in Westward ho a few times. I think we have found a somewhere better than the last places we have stayed in.. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Magestic, well maintained building. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional It's old school ( pre covid) high quality hospitality. Hard to find post covid. Very dog friendly. It has a lift! Great breakfast Clean, tastefully decorated rooms.

Stayed 1 night after deciding to add on another day after our wedding and a few days in High Bickington. Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, loved the milk & ice which came in very handy. Very warm, dog friendly (ours loved watching the boats from the balcony) cosy apartment, helpful host and WHAT A VIEW. Genuinely had one of the best night sleeps I’ve had in a long time. Don’t hesitate to book – it is perfect We stayed for three nights and everything about this bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The host, Jayne, was absolutely excellent – warm and welcoming without ever being overbearing. She has a real attention to detail, and it shows in every aspect of the stay. From thoughtful suggestions on things to do in the area, to the small touches that made us feel completely looked after, nothing was overlooked. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Each night we returned to find full service: fresh towels, replenished tea, coffee, and cookies – those little touches that make such a difference. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a delicious cooked option alongside a fresh fruit salad and cereals etc. The host is clearly a perfectionist in the best possible way, ensuring guests feel both comfortable and cared for. It’s rare to find a place where the small things are done so well, and it really elevated our experience. Highly recommended – you won’t regret staying here!

Clovelly is a awesome place. The Red Lion is perfect managed. Everything was typical English.

Loved the little touches like torch by door , tea coffee sugar milk and bottle of bubbly , very clean, everything was thought of .
