The location was perfect for a complete and tranquil getaway. Despite being very rural it was still within easy reach of the motorway. Due to the fact that it was a former castle it was ideal for history buffs and the staff very kindly took us on a tour of the remaining tower and chapel.

This delightful, fully licensed boutique hotel is set in a Georgian house and conveniently situated in beautiful gardens half a mile from the centre of Tiverton.

Staffs are so friendly, everyday the rooms are clean and tidy by the wonderful staffs, and the receptionist Spanish seeking lady always on day shift, and the other gentlemen work at night so friendly and helpful, it was my second time visit and that was wonderful stay! Thanks team Mercure!
