We loved almost every aspect of our stay! And have been telling both Scots and other Canadians about how wonderful the accommodations were. Celiacs… run to this hotel. They not only accommodate a gluten-allergy but they cater to it. For example, I had gluten-free croissants for breakfast and they were great 😍🤯😍! The servers and hosts were all fantastic, especially a woman who wore a little horse pendant around her neck… I can’t remember her name but she stood out as a superstar. The location is perfect. Just far enough to be off the main tourist path and just a quick walk to be right in the middle of town of Portree. Also, loved the bathroom products.

At first I hadn't realized that the hotel is not at Skye but on another island, which requires a ferry . It made me so nervous that I almost booked another hotel. Thank god, nothing else was available. Raasay and the Distillery is one of the best places we ever stayed in! The hotel is beautiful! Charming and warm. The view from our room was breathtaking, the room was modern and beautifully furnished. Staying on an isolated island is an amazing experience. We met a few members of the team and they were all super friendly, welcoming and had a lot of patience for our endless questions about the isle, the habitants, the roads, the sights, etc. I wish we had time to stay longer. Breakfast was very good, tasty and assorted. The restaurant has a huge glass window facing the sea. The scenery is so beautiful that we couldn't care less about the food :-)

Angela is an amazing host, she was available at all times and super helpful and very friendly. The room is really nice and clean and we had the best breakfast every morning. We very much enjoyed our stay at Air Leth & Breakfast and would come back anytime!

With a Parking space right outside the front door This ACCESSIBLE spacious apartment was just perfect, its situated on a mixed farm of sheep and chickens in a beautiful sheltered glen a few miles from Portree, the front door leads into a huge lobby which is great for storing coats, boots, bags and suitcases etc, then through the internal door into the open plan well equipped kitchen, dinning and lounge area, the hallway leads to a lovely double bedroom and the wet room is well designed for use with the shower area furthest from the door. Good quality furniture and soft furnishings throughout, underfloor heating and a private garden with stunning views. It was completed in 2024 using the latest building and insulation materials. In a word PERFECTION.

Despite some of the negative reviews we had read, our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Our room seemed to have been recently renovated — small, cozy, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed and an incredible view over Portree harbour. The bathroom was just as comfortable and spotless. The only thing we missed was a small fridge to keep drinks cool, but that’s really a minor detail. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast team was equally kind and welcoming. We really liked their breakfast formula — a great selection and the perfect way to start the day! The hotel restaurant also offered good food at a fair price (for Portree). The location in Portree is perfect, both for exploring the town and for starting day trips around the island.

This place is just perfect. Easy check‐in, the appartment is very clean and has everything you need. Very comfy bed. The surroundings are amazing. The owner is the most helpful. We will absolutely come back. Very good value for your money.
