The recent refurb has made all the difference. The hotel is now smart, modern and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We enjoyed our dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

The lady in the front desk was so nice, warm and friendly. I think her name was Esther, she welcomed us so warmly when we stumbled tired and worn into the hotel a late evning. She made sure we had everything we needed and her warm attitude made us feel so safe and welcomed after a long week driving through Europe. Her professional and nice catering towards us made the first impression so good that we paid for an extra night

Extremely comfortable stay, helpful staff, pleasant bar (evenings) and lounge (mornings), varied breakfast and a quiet lobby to do some work the next day. Also within walking distance of Portman Road, so perfect for the football.

The staff are excellent. Particular mention for Sandy serving breakfast who is always good natured and helpful. The reception manager was also excellent in dealing with a noise problem from a guest. Room comfortable, breakfast excellent and plentiful. Plenty of parking and good location for our trip.
