The room was very clean. Our room was at the 8th floor with a city view. The room was spacious and bright. We especially loved the location. Very easy to use public transport and great neighborhood.

The other attractions of Ghent are just beyond Gravensteen. It is a comic art hotel decorated with artwork from comics. The room and bathroom are large and movement is easy. We have a view of a small garden outside our window. The bed is comfortable and towels are changed every few days. There is a kettle for tea and coffee maker so tea bags and coffee capsules are given. There is a heated drying rack in the bathroom which can dry towels or laundry. The toiletries are well provided.
