We are trying out various spas in the Styrian "Thermen & Vulkanland". We appreciated visiting in the off-season (January) and enjoyed the inside and outside thermal swimming pools and five different saunas. The dinner was really excellent and good value for money. Can only recommend taking the half-board.

Our stay at Monschein Weingut Straden was absolutely wonderful, and we already look forward to returning! The room was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wine was outstanding, and we couldn’t leave without taking some bottles home. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and everything about this place felt genuine and full of heart. What makes this stay exceptional is the unique story behind the winery and the dedication of the owners. It’s a peaceful, authentic place that allows for complete disconnection. We highly recommend it with all our hearts!

Great place to stay during your trip to the south but i would also be a very good choice to stay for few days and visit thermal baths (21 saunas in a nearby facility!) a small playground (bunnies!), a table tennis an bikes. You can order breakfast on the site. Staff is very friendly with perfect english, beds are perfect and bathrooms are perfectly clean - great choice!

Breakfast and dinner were amazing - enough choices for a 3-year-old kid too :-) lunch break was excellent as well - the entire food service just amazing. Additionally, all the people working there were SUPER friendly, and Mr. Stoiser was an excellent host ALSO to kids :-)!!!!
